MPC KIDS TABLE
MESA PLACE CHURCH'S CHILDREN'S MINISTRY IS CALLED "KIDS TABLE." AT MPC, THERE IS ALWAYS ROOM AT THE TABLE.
At Kids Table we teach our children to learn about the Bible with stories, engaging story videos, fun worship songs with motions and movement and live/video puppet productions.
Our goal is to teach the children about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We aim to point children in the right direction. “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it” Proverbs 22:6.
At your first visit to MPC, your child(ren) will be entered into our system. They will be given a name badge and the guardian will also be given a badge with a security tag number. That badge will be used to pick up the child, or if the parent needs to be paged we will put that number up on the sanctuary screen.
Children can start being dropped off in their classrooms starting at 10:15 am.
Kids Table has classrooms divided in sections for the children to learn age appropriate lessons about the Bible.
Changing Table - 0 - Diapers are in the classroom located connected to the sanctuary for closer access for parents who need to get to their children quickly.
Pre School Table - This classroom is geared for preschoolers and Kindergarteners. This classroom is where children learn to build relationships with each other and leaders while learning about God.
Little Kids Table - This classroom is for children in 1st - 3rd grade. This classroom is characterized by high-impact energy, fun and engaging teaching/worship and intentional Biblical Lessons that are following what the adults are learning in the sanctuary.
Big Kids Table - This classroom is for 4th - 6th grade. This class also follows what the adults are learning in the sanctuary and spends time on the development of a relationship with the Holy Trinity.
TEACHERS AT KIDS TABLE
Our teachers and helpers are screened with a background check and trained before teaching in the classroom.
We are always looking for volunteers to teach at Kids Table. If you are interested in teaching, please see First Lady Selina to fill out an application and learn about the next training date.
