MEET PASTOR CHRISTIAN & HIS FAMILY

Pastor Christian Gurrola was born and raised in the city of El Paso. He graduated from Coronado High School.  He also attended the University of Texas of El Paso and El Paso Community College but never finished.

He and his wife, Selina Gurrola, have been married for nearly 30 years.  Selina is a school teacher at Immanuel Christian School. She also is the Children’s Minister at Mesa Place Church. Together, the couple has two children; Dominique and Annalyssa. 

Pastor Christian worked for a number of businesses before joining ministry in 2008.

The family started Mesa Place Church in their living room and in May of 2015, opened its doors at the Baptist Student Union at the University of Texas at El Paso. The church would then move to 707 N. Campbell in Downtown El Paso.  Mesa Place Church moved to El Paso's East Side in August of 2021. It is located at 985 Loma Verde near Rojas and Loop 375.

On his free time, Pastor Christian is an avid cyclist and enjoys spending time with his friends and family.  He is an outgoing and loving Pastor who is personally invested in whoever enters the doors of MPC.
